More Projects

Jason's freightliner project is coming along great.  Steps were gonna cost us around $4500 so we decided to build them instead.  It was a lot better price wise.  We are only into them $650.   Jason Does so good when it comes to custom work.
Turns out Jason is also a carpenter!  Jason made this toy box for our basement!  I am so excited to get the basement completed and finally space out a little bit!  Looks like we will have carpet in on April 2nd.  It will be so nice to finally have more room in our house.

Rhett at 3 months

Rhett is now 3 months old.  He is getting so big!!   He is more lively now.  He is making all sort of sounds and smiles a lot.  He loves to be with his brothers and watches them like a hawk.   He is sleeping through the night now which is great for me.   He is also eating between 2 1/2-3 OZ of milk.
I love this picture because this is mostly what he looks like.   Still no hair on his little head.  A customer actually asked me if something was wrong with my baby cause he had no hair.  ha ha nope he is just a baby that's bald.

National Farm Machine Show 2013

On Valentines day, Jason and I last minute decided to go to Kentucky for the Farm Machine show.   Our flight left at 2:05 pm on Friday the 15th of Feb.  Dayton and Jace spend the weekend with my mom.  Rhett was the only one of the kids who came.  It was a long day of traveling.  We arrived in Kentucky at almost mid night and we were totally beat and our baby was done with plane rides and traveling in general.
Saturday morning the 16 we got up pretty early and headed over to the convention center.  Our main goal was to go and see the Super Mod sled pull trucks before they had to prep to pull.    It was so fun seeing all of our competition up close rather than in a magazine or on TV.
Hulk truck known as "Altered Ego"
 Me and "Off Constantly"
 Scheid Diesel truck
The three of us on the plane ride
Jason and Haisley Machines "Rock Hard Ram"

After we were able to look at the trucks we browsed the show for a bit and then we had tickets to the two final sled pulling shows.   Jason was so excited and happy.  It was harder for me to have a good time.  A big indoor sled pull where you are shoulder to shoulder with no wiggle room trying to take care of a crying baby is not very fun.   The two sled pulls were 3 1/2 hours long each.   It was so loud inside too.  Even covering your ears wasn't enough to block the sound.   it shook your whole body.
It was worth it to go and see Jason so happy.  I would love to go again but next time I wont be taking any kids.  Nothing against Rhett, but it was just too much.   The pulls ended around midnight.  We only had 3 hours till our taxi picked us up to go to the air port, which made it really hard to sleep.   All the traveling back home seemed to never end.  The trip was just jam packed and there wasn't an ounce of relaxing in it.  Next time we will go for 3 days rather than one and that will help.

Daytons School Happenings

Dayton is still enjoying school.  Everyday he goes he learns more and more.  He is always asking me how to spell and word and we are working on sounding things out so he can read and spell by himself.  He loves addition and subtraction.  I am always finding papers all over the shop of math equations.

At the end of January Dayton had his Unbirthday Party at school.  He wanted to have doughnuts for his birthday snack to share with his friends.

High Chair Time

Over the weekend we started moving back into the basement where it's almost done.  We are just waiting on carpet. (I will post all of the pictures as soon as its finished and doors are hung)  Rather than storing the high chair, I left it up stairs because it won't be long now till my little bug can eat rice cereal.  He sat in the high chair this morning for a full half hour watching me make breakfast and clean the kitchen.  He is such a good baby and growing way to fast!

Adore

Last night we were all laying around in my bed.  Rhett was happy and smiling and cooing.  Dayton and Jace adore their baby brother.  Their Dad Adores all three of them.  And I ADORE all of them.   Soo so so precious!

Rhett Sick again

Rhett is sick again.  They said he is borderline RSV but untill it gets worse it can offically be called RSV.  So we are waiting for him to get better and praying it doesnt get worse.  My poor baby has a super duper runny nose.  Its like a faucet that we cant turn off.  It only stops when he is sleeping.  So good news... he sleeps alot!!  I am starting to love my own personal photographers every where i go.   Dayton took this picture as well as 40 others of cabinets and windows and the car seat.

Shop Ball

The boys have been practicing their skill at baseball or should I say shop ball lately.  They are actaully getting really good.   Dayton can almost hit the ball every time and is getting great at aiming when it comes to pitching.  Jace is equally just as good.

Megans Baby Shower

We had Megan a baby shower on Feb 2nd.   It was a good time and Megan had a great turn out.  She was indeed showered with baby gifts!  I never can seem to remember a camera when it comes to family get togethers or parties.  Grandma Strong took this picture and I had no option but to take a picture of a picture.  I don't know what we would do with out my Grandma.  Its always priceless to me when my sisters and I get a photo together.  I love them so much. They are truly my best friends!

There is a Time and Place

There is a time and place for everything.  Like sleeping through getting 4 cavities filled.  Dayton was not sedated but rather he had an asthma attack on the way down to Utah and I had to give him some benadryl cause his inhaler was at home.   He couldn't have found a better time and place to sleep right?  He had to have been the easiest patient of the day.
