Go for a ride on the SLIDE!!!

Its official!! Dayton will now, go up the stairs in the play gym and come down the slide at the rec center. Today there were a bunch of little boys his age going down the slide. Dayton started to follow and low and behold he even went down the slide. (and I have to mention its a big slide!!) I was so excited! I had to tell everyone there that it was his first time! All of the pictures are fuzzy because have you ever tried to get an 18 month old baby to hold still while he is having fun with his friends?!?! He had so much fun! He was laughing and screaming and running and well, it was just a good day for him!

Zoe's Hack Job!

So I cannot stand having dog hair around or in my house! Drives me CRAZY!! Since August I have been cutting Zoe's Hair with dog trimmers. Well to say the least after I had her belly shaved the trimmers died! So, since I was half way through I just finished the rest with scissors! What do you think? Yeah I am good. Its good entertainment, every time I look at her I am laughing. I have never done it so short but I figured I wanted a hairless dog this time so I don't have to cut her hair every 6 weeks. Jason told me he would fix the trimmers so I can fix Zoes hair, But I just might leave it. Its a peice of art!

Daytons cuteness

When we were at church today, to keep Dayton quiet we read him books in sacrament meeting. Jason was reading Dayton his favorite book "My Funny Monkey" and when Jason finished the book, he went to shut it Dayton yelled out "Amen!" Jason had a hard time being reverent after this because he was laughing so hard. I am glad that Dayton is learning things about the gospel all the time and it touches my heart that he tries to use church things in everyday life. Dayton's first day of Nursery, all by him self, was today. I was so proud!!! I almost teared up when I picked him up and the nursery teachers complimented me that Dayton was very good and they wish every kid would come into nursery as good as he was. I am just so proud! I am so lucky that Heavenly Father choose me and Jason to be Daytons parents. He is such a blessing and a good kid. Above is a picture of Dayton in the truck yesterday. He was so good to watch his DVD for 4 1/2 hours and not even make a peep. I had to take a picture because he is so cute! Sorry the picture is a little fuzzy ):

Horrible Start to a Brand New Year

So I will admit last year we had a good year. We had little things come up but no big trials. Its only January and I am ready for 2010!! It started off with Dayton being sick forever long, (and by the way he is still sick!) to recieving a bill from Payson city saying we used 105 units of water in one month, when NO ONE lives there!!! (the normal usage was from 3-5 unitsa month) Then having someone check our house to find out our water heater has BLOWN UP and 105 units of water have been running down there for 2 weeks creating mold. Then we find out our insurance will cover water damage but not mold damage (makes a lot of sense right? water creates mold!) Then it goes to getting bids to fix the basement and having companies quoting 8 to 10 THOUSAND dollars in mold damage clean up only! And that is money that we have to pay out of pocket! The basement (on what was finished) was only 2 to 3 thousand to finish at most! but I guess you cant tear it out and replace everything cause the mold just spreads and spreads and spread. So you have to treat EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE...Even treat our upstairs that was fine and never damaged at all!!!! Then this morning I got a call from the bank saying money that I deposited in an ATM machine on Friday was lost, and I was just out $4,700!!! AHHHH I freaked out. To say the least I talked to the board of America first Credit union and the President of Trona Valley Credit union in Rock Springs and they gave me a credit of 4,700 But I guess you really have to freak out to people at the top of the food money chain to get what is rightfully yours! Long day and its going to be a long year! I hope and pray for us, as well as everyone else that the economy picks up and things get moving again! Hope y'all have a better year than the Stotts!

Sick at the Stotts

We officially have the cold bug here at the Stott house. Dayton has been sick for three days and I think he is getting worse ): It could have turned to an ear ache. I feel so bad for the little guy.
