My Baby at 8 weeks

*Cartilage and bones begin to form. At the end of this week your baby will have already completed 1/5th of the journey 'til his birthday!
*The basic structure of the eye is well underway - The position is more "newborn" like already!
*The tongue begins to develop
*Intestines move out of the umbilical cord into the abdomen.
*Body grows and makes room - Two months along and this little one is growing inside and out by leaps and bounds!
*The fingers and toes have appeared but are webbed and short
*Baby's length (crown to rump) is 0.61 inch (1.6cm) and weight is 0.04 ounce (1gm)

ohh man...

Story time...So yesterday I had a bad day and was throwing up, unfortunatly I had to when Dayton was around. He at first thought it was fun that I was leaning over the toilet. He kept on saying "mommy hold me" any ways, the first time around he though it was so sick and yelled out "ewww" after that he lost interest and went of the the living room leaving me peace for the next time around. On the third time around Dayton came running into the bathroom and said "ohhh man! " then he left leaving my 4th time around in peace. but after the fourth time around I wasnt very happy and Dayton looked at me and said "mom...Happy!" It was so cute. He has so much personality.. He wanted me to be happy through the sickness, not to be sad. So I have been working really hard to smile even though I don't feel good. Anything to make my little man happy.

Twilight Frenzy!!

So last night twilight came out on DVD at midnight and they had parties going on. I decided I wanted to go around 2 or 3 pm that day and I was just going to go by myself, but then I decided to ask Kim Jibson if she wanted to go. By the time 10:00 came around I was so tired I layed down and slept (cant you tell I look like I was just hit with a train!) just to wake up at 11:30, pick up Kim and head to Walmart. It was crazy! They were tons of people. I wasnt expecting that in Rock Springs. It was fun though. I am glad I went. When I came home of course I had to watch the movie and it was super! I can't wait for the second and third movies!

If any one has seen "Juno" they will understand the humor in my title line. It's a pretty funny show and I recommend it to everyone!. Anyways the news is... I'm Pregnant!! I am 7 weeks along. You will notice that there is a little baby counter on the side of my blog page counting down the days till I am due...which is November 7th. We are very excited to be expecting. Although this pregnancy is turing out to be different than when I was pregnant with Dayton. I am feeling.....nasty, gross, sick, queasy, hungry, full, dizzy. You name it and I am feeling it. I dont think that I can no longer say that I don't get sick while being pregnant. ): I will try to update my babies growth around twice a month!

Elbows form - Again, taking a peek inside you could see your baby's fascination with bending and flexing. Later you will swear you can enlist your child as the star of the next "Karate Kid" movie! Fingers start to develop - These digits often become your baby's first toy!
Feet start to appear with tiny notches for the toes - It is fascinating that at less than a half inch, your little guy (or gal) already is leaving "footprints" on your heart!
Ears eyes and nose start to appear - Although they may resemble an alien life form, these all "shift" soon enough into a more normal appearance.
Intestines start to form in the umbilical cord - Did you know that initially the intestines are not formed inside your baby's body?
Teeth begin to develop under the gums - Thankfully, right now you won't be dealing with teething pain!

Disney On Ice

This weekend we decided to cancel our trip to Vegas and we took Dayton to Disney on Ice. It was a blast. He loved it!! I think it is for sure something that we will do again. We also went to my friend Kristin Turner Watsons wedding on thursday, Celebrated my dads birthday at my sister Stacees house, finished up mudding and sanding the basement in Payson on friday and Saturday morning. On Saturday evening we went to Jason's Dad house to have some yummy soup and Dayton rode Itty Bit ( a mini pony )Then we came home around 10. I am glad that we canceled Vegas. No regrets.

Daytons Bad Day

Dayton had a really bad day today. He got his little finger stuck in an aluminum can with the lid still attached a little. When I finally got his finger out it had torn all of his skin off clear to the bone, and of course it was bleeding like crazy!! I rushed him to his doctor (I was driving like a maniac with Dayton sitting on my lap and me holding his finger together the best I could) and they fit him into their schedule. When Dr. Hunter saw it, he was not sure what to do cause there is a good chance that Dayton's tendons in his finger could be cut in half. Where Dayton's finger was so little and so chubby, the doctor thought it would be best to Dermaglue it. He was worried that stitches would have made things worse, especially where the wound is located over his whole finger and right across where his finger bends.. I have to watch it really carefully. I have to take him back to the doctor on Monday to see if he can actually move his finger. If he cant , we are going to have to get surgery on it. Not very fun. He was so brave but he still cried a lot. Especially when they had to clean it. I tried to be brave, but I found my self crying also. Its hard not to when your little one is suffering. Jason finally showed up as they were putting the bandages on it an hour later. He was so worried and I don't blame him. Dayton is feeling a little better now, he is really favoring his left hand but hopefully he will leave it alone and not make it worse.

Day with Milan

Today I baby sat my friends daugter Milan. We had a really great day. I love it when I get to baby sit cause Dayton is so much easier to watch when he is playing with a friend!!! Dayton and Milan bathed together and had so much making my whole bathroom floor a pool! (I just had to get a picture) We really had a lot of fun.
