Easter Day 2013

I wasn't actually able to get a picture of the boy's baskets from the Easter bunny but we were able to color Easter eggs on Easter day...I know, I know.  I slacked a little bit.  But the kids were happy and I guess that counts.

Cousin Get Together

After the Easter Egg hunt at Ricks house, we went shooting.  It was super convienient because we went shooting right by where my sisters were camping.  It was nice to beable to all my nephews and family.

Easter Egg Hunt At the Stotts

 After staying home the last 2 years in a row, we decided to head to Utah this year for Easter.  After all Jace up to this point had never had an actual Easter egg hunt.  Jason and Rhett did the baby Easter egg hunt together.

 Dayton and Jace joined the older kids for the big hunt.  

 Jace was so excited for this moment.  He waited in line for 30-45 minutes so patiently.  He was so cute when they finally said the words "GO"   He only wanted to get the eggs rather than the big prizes laying on the ground.  
Once it was over, Jace wasn't done.  He wanted to do it again.

Here is a picture of the boys and their loot.  They had a great time and it was so nice to see family that we hardly ever see.

 

Jace and Rhett Cuddle buddies

Jace and Rhett are found in my bed almost ever single night!  Neither of them will sleep in their own beds.   Its alright though.  Sleep is over rated any ways.  You know the song "There was four in the bed and the little one said, roll over, roll over.  So they all roll over and one falls out" ??  Well me and Jason are always falling out of the bed.   As cute as these little guys seem, they sure do hog the bed.

Jace's Sprained Wrist

This to my poor little Jace?  Well believe it cause it happened.   Jace was so brave.  Good thing the cast was only needed for a short time.

Rhett 4 Months

Rhett is 4 Months old now!!  Time sure does fly!

Rhett can now roll over and grab objects.  He enjoys laying on his play mat and grabbing my hair.  He loves to watch his brother and cartoons on the TV.

Tummy Time

 Rhett is stating to love tummy time.  He is able to lay on his stomach and look around and grab things with his hands for 20 minutes at a time before he wants to move on his side or on his back.

I'm not sure why I spend all the money I do on toys when Dayton and Jace prefer to play with 0-12 month toys.   It will never cease to amaze me.

Jace the Eye Patch Pirate

Well never a dull moment at the Stott household.  My kids had bad cases of a respiratory infection,  while Jace was getting a breathing treatment, he was pulling on the face mask and it came undone  The elastic band that went around his head, came and snapped him right in the eye ball.  We went to the eye doctor and sure enough he cut his little eye ball. The Dr. said he would have to wear an eye patch for a few days so Jace's eye would stay closed so it could heal.  He said it looks like nothing permanent happened so that was great news.  Jace had a really hard time looking out one eye while the other eye was closed.  So mainly he looked like what he did in the picture above.  Both eyes closed.  We did have fun calling him a pirate and would say "ARRRR" to him a lot.  He didn't seem to mind too much and would play along too.

Blakes Baby Blessing

 4 Generations

 

We had a busy weekend.  Megan had a baby on Friday, Shae had her 18th birthday on Saturday and Stacee had her baby Blakes blessing on Sunday.  Again I forgot my camera and thanks to Grandma Strong I have some pictures of the event. 

Welcoming Baby Rex Logan Williams

 Rex Logan Williams was born on March 1st 2013 at 5:25pm.  He was born just as perfect as can be.   (other than a sad little cone head)

This is a picture of all of us as soon as I arrived in Utah.  I think I arrived around 8 pm that night.  I always try to give it my best effort to be there for my sisters within 12 hours of having a new baby.  I know how important it is to me so I try to do it for them.  Its gonna be so fun having 3 boys around that are the same ages.
