Big News

We have exciting news at the Stott house.   I'm Pregnant!!!  I am 10 weeks along and can't keep it a secret any longer!!!  We are expecting to have this new addition in our home around Thanksgiving time.    

Clark Planetarium

 The last big adventure we had while we were in Utah was we went to the Clark Planetarium.  Dayton loves learning about planets so I figured it would be perfect.

We went to a movie called "Perfect little planet" in the Dome Theater.  It looked like a good show for kids.  Dayton loved it.  Me and Jace.... not some much.  It made us so motion sick.  Jace cried the whole time that he didn't like it.  This was my first experience getting motion sick in my life and it wasn't very fun.   We decided to snap a few pictures before the show started.  Me and Jace didn't look this happy when the show was done though.

MS Walk 2012

 On Saturday for one of our Utah weekend activities we did the MS walk for my uncle Rob.  That place is crazy busy.  They should consider making more room for all the people next year.

 It was a nice walk.  It would have been nicer if I would have remembered my running stroller and running shoes.  But lesson learned and I'm sure I will never forget again!!  We are glad that we could be a part of this great event and we look forward to going next year.

The Zoo April 2012

 I went to Utah this past weekend.  (April 27-29)  We started our Adventures on Friday with going to the Zoo.  It was a little on the cool side but on a positive note... we had front row parking, there was not many people or lines, and the animals were all very active.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes 2012

We Went down to Coral Pink Sand Dunes the weekend after Easter.  It was SO cold.  On our first Saturday there is snowed all day and made for a stay in the trailer kinda day.  Sunday was still cold but we tried to make the most of it and we went to go see the Indian Petroglyphs.

 Dayton did great on the almost 2 mile hike.  He was going pretty fast and every time I tried to slow him down he would yell at me that he wasn't a baby and that he wanted to be big like his cousins.    Jason nor Jace made it in any of the pictures because they were helping the rest of the group make it to the site.  But they were there and they had a good time.

We were sad that we only got on day of riding in when we traveled 8 hours one way to get there.  Hopefully next year when we go we will get plenty of riding in. And Hopefully I will be able to catch a few more pictures!!!

Daytons Dinosaur Museum Field trip 2012

 We went to the dinosaur museum again for Dayton's preschool this year.  He enjoyed it just as much this year as he did the last.   He seemed to mind better and he also knew more about dinosaurs thanks to the TV series "Dino Dan".

The T-Rex at the end of the tour is Dayton's favorite part.  But that could be in part that the T-Rex is his favorite dinosaur.

Easter 2012

Looks like the Easter Bunny made it to the Stott house again this year.  The kids couldnt be more thrilled about getting the DVD's that they have been wanting for awhile.  That Easter Bunny sure knows what he is doing! (:

Sand Dunes Easter Egg hunt

We didn't go to Utah this year for Easter so we stayed home and planned an Easter Egg hunt out on the Sand Dunes.  My parents did this for me and my sisters when we were little and it was a lot of fun.  My boys didn't particularly care for the Easter egg hunt at all.  They just wanted to ride the four wheelers and play in the sand.  Most of the eggs that I put out I had to go and gather back up myself.  Next year I will just do 10 eggs rather than 100 and just do one bigger gift and call it good.  If they are fine with it then so I am!  (:  silly kids!

1.   I wanna see NYC one day.
2.   I hate it when people are mad and they beat around the bush rather than flat out say it.
3.   I love to debate.... not fight, but debate.  I love to try to prove people wrong (horrible i know)
4.   I hate it when people act annoyed of my kids or when they talk bad about them and it gets back to me

6.   I recently bought a scale and regret it ever time I step on it ( weight doesn't define me!!)
7.   I was told at the park the other day by a friend that when they first met me they though I was perfect and I was leading the perfect life (it was kinda a huge compliment)
8.   I was riding at the sand dunes with my dad and when we were done, he told me that I'm beautiful to watch when I ride and that I'm very graceful.
9.   I bought a pair of skinny jeans and I love them!
10.   It takes me a half hour to fall asleep and I wake up at the smallest of sounds.
11.   My husbands business is starting to be successful and its way exciting to see something that we built grow.

1-What is your favorite Disney movie and why?  The little mermaid and I'm not sure why.  Grandma Shepherd bought it for me when I was being a little stinker at work with my mom.
2-What is your biggest fear?  Losing my husband or my kids.
