Daytons Birthday Party

Yesterday on Dayton's birthday we had him a party where he could invite his friends.  We held the part at Garnet splash park.  The party went so smoothly and there were hardly any flaws.   I am so happy that everything went good for Dayton's sake.  He deserves the best!!  I cannot believe that 4 years ago Dayton came into my life.  It has been an amazing Journey

Tremonton Sled Pull and Dayton's Family Birthday Party

Of course every year at the Tremonton sled pull we have Dayton a family birthday party.  Its just so easy to do it there because all the family is together anyways and then no one has to do the extra traveling to Rock Springs.   The party and the sled pull turned out so great.
I worked really hard on Friday to make Dayton a Transformers Optimus Prime birthday cake.   I was going to do the semi version but I was really worried how it would travel in the motor home and I didn't want it to tip over.  So I just did a flat 3D version.   Dayton loved his cake.  He was so excited when it all started to come together.
Dayton received lots of gifts including 2 transformers, 4 hot wheels tracks, and 3 bakugans.  His Birthday BBQ was really nice also and everything just came together.  It was nice cause I hardly had to stress about anything at all.
The sled pull was awesome.  Jason didn't win first place but he had an amazing run.  It was perfect.  Our only down fall was that he picked the wrong side of the track to go down and we didn't have enough wheel speed because we don't have the right gearing.  The turn out was huge.  Over 100 trucks hooked to the sled and it was almost a sold out show for the audience sake.
After the sled pull there was lots of autograph signing and there was a wonderful firework show.

It was such an awesome day!!!  Thank you to everyone who came to support Dayton and Addicted!

The Circus 2011

I finally went to my first circus last night!!!  It was good....I dont know if it was worth how much money they charged but I am still glad that we went.   I kinda always thought that a circus was mainly just tons of animals doing cool tricks.  I unfortunaltly never got to see a lion jump through a hoop with fire around it... I did not see any bears dancing nor did I see any giraffes.  I did get to see 4 dogs,  5 horses and 3 elephants.   The elephants were cool, they were actually my favorite part of the show!!

 The WOLF PACK!!
This is a guy in a plexy glass box.... he was extremely flexable and was doing all sorts of crazy bends and twists with his body.....  He would pull is bones out of socket and it was gross... I actually got kinda queasy
Chris and Jim's faces were priceless while they were watching this flexy man do his stuff.   The light of my camera actually is what turned their heads but the look on their faces remained the same.  PRICESLESS!
Dayton and Jace were so cute and good sitting next to eachother
 Me and my sweetie
 The elephants!!!

Dayton and Jace were excited about the circus also.  We saw the tents being set up yesterday morning on our walk and they were buzzing about it all day.  Jason wasnt so excited about going to the circus, but he was excited about seeing the kids reaction to the circus.  Jim and Chris also joined in on the fun.

Lagoon 2011. It's What Fun Is!!

We had our annual Lagoon trip on July 15th.  Originally it was just going to be me and Dayton and Jace going down but last minute Jason decided he would take the day off and come with us.  The boys had a great time.
Dayton was even tall enough to ride his first large roller coaster.  He rode "Bambora" and he loved it.  On the drive home I asked him what his favorite ride was and he claimed it was the blue roller coaster!  I am not sure if Jace had a favorite ride.... He loved them ALL!!  He was such a great sport to go on any ride that Macade and Dayton went on.
Jason was really adventurous this year.  We got him to ride wicked, the sky coaster, spider, and the log ride.  He was such a great sport.  Last year he only got to ride on ride and he was done for the day.
During the heat of the day we went to Lagoona Beach and cooled off.  My boys love the water.  He rode on the water kiddie slides at least 50 times!!

This year Chris Kendall and Jim Sell joined in on the Lagoon fun.  They hadn't been in a while and decided to go down with us.  They made the day lots of fun.
The day was so busy.  I hardly had any time at all to get any pictures of the kids riding on the rides.  I feel way bad about it now.  There just wasn't really any time though.  ):
I am so glad that my Grandma Strong puts in a huge effort to get all of the family together and takes us to Lagoon.  We always have such a great time!  Thanks Grandma!! It was an awesome day!!!

July 4th 2011

We headed out to the sand dunes for our 4th of July weekend.  It was wonderful.  It was nice and warm and we were surrounded by great company.   The boys did great.  They love to go for rides on the dunes and they love to play in the sand.
All of the little ponds that are throughout the sand dunes were filled with tadpoles.  There had to have been a million of those little buggers.  The old Elle May Clampet in me wanted to bust out and catch a hundred of them and take them home and raise em'.
Here is a picture of the group of us.  Rick, Cathy, Misty, Santos, Sadie, Marshall, Jim Bo, Chris, Jason, Me, Dayton and Jace
 Jason riding Chris's four wheeler
We drove over to the petroglyphs and there was a huge eagle nest up on the rocks.  I had to catch a picture of it.  the nest had to have been taller than I.
Here is a picture of the boys that the petroglyphs.  It was cool but over the years people have screwed up the history and you cant tell what was really old stuff and what is the new stuff.
Jace having a good time playing in the wet sand.
We came back on Monday and spent the day at home followed by watching the firework show that Rock springs puts on.  They do the fireworks along the side with music that you listen to on the Radio.  Chris had to put his arms out with his pop can so we could get good reception.
