Halloween 2010

(I had to post this picture.  All Jace wanted was for me told hold him and all I wanted was to get a cute picture of him for Halloween.  He is so cute even when he is crying!)

My boys had a great Halloween this year.  Dayton was a Tiger, he picked out his costume and everything.  I chose Jace's costume and I wanted him to be a cheeseburger.  Halloween night was a little chilly.  It wouldn't have been so bad if the darn wind wasn't blowing, but that is Wyoming for ya.  We only made it up and down two roads and by that point we were cold, and we had SO much candy already.  People were just giving it out by the handfuls.   Happy Halloween!

Pre-Halloween

Dayton today has his school Halloween Party.  He was so excited this morning putting on his costume!  I went to his school and helped the kids do a pretzel decorating table.  It was a lot of fun.  Jace LOVED Dayton's school.  He was better than Dayton was.  He was right in there with the kids for singing time and free time being soo good. (this is not a big surprise!)  When Dayton came home from school he had a back pack full of Halloween fun.  He even had a few prize bags from his teacher and friends which included some of these amazing glasses.  We sat around for a half hour or so just putting them on and laughing.   We are soo excited here at the Stott house for Halloween!  Happy Pre-Halloween!

Jaces 1 year old Birthday

Considering we did a big family get together on Saturday we figured we would just make things simple and just involve our little family for Jace's official birthday party.  We had a yummy dinner, followed by some pumpkin carving, followed by the official blowing out the birthday candle/cake eating fest.   Jace has came SO far in a year.  We love him to death.  He brings such a great spirit into our home.
Here are a few things about Jace so far:
Jace in his entire life has only slept through the night 3 times.
Jace screams and cries whenever I yell.
Jace is a Mommy's boy but after a day of all mom he cant wait to see his Daddy.
Jace can walk but still prefers to crawl.
Jace has 4 teeth.  2 top, 2 bottom.
Jace is scared of heights.  He wont even go near the stairs, hence he has not fallen down them yet.
Jace LOVES it when me and the boys get hyper and do tickling time.   He screams and hollers and grabs onto my shirt like he is going to wrestle me.  Its SO cute!
Jace's favorite food is jerky and spaghetti.
Jace's least favorite food is ANYTHING green.
Jace wont take a bottle...only a glass or a sippy-cup.  He also won't take a Binky
Jace HATES being in his car seat and going for rides longer than 10 minutes.
Jace is tough!  It seriously takes a really big bonk to make this kid cry in pain.
Jace is really lovey when you hold him and he likes to lay his head down on your chest.  (he is a sweety!)

We love you SO much and we are so blessed to have you in our lives.  Happy 1st Birthday Jace!!!

White Trash Halloween Party

This year my Grandma Strong switched things up and rather than just having a normal halloween dress up party she decided to go with a theme and she chose the theme to be "White Trash".    We had a great time going through the clothes that they had at the D.I.   We all laughed until our sides hurt.  I can offically say this was the very first time in my entire life that I have dressed immodestly and looked like a skank.  It did fit the white trash theme though.  I am not sure of Jason's outfit other than it did show off his sexy figure.  We took Dayton with no pants on and a shirt that was a year too small.  Jace didnt get any special treatment and was left in his cloths from his birthday party earlier that day.

Jace's Family Birthday Party

Due to the bad weather we had to cancel our plans to go to Cornbellys this year and we ended up having Jace's Birthday party at Carl's Jr.   It turned out to be really nice.  They had a clean play center for the kids and it was nice and cheap.  The staff at Carls was more than helpful to help us with anything that we needed.
We had an awesome turn out.  From my family my Mom, Dad, Shae, Stacee, Digger, Macade, Megan and Lee was there.  From Jasons family: Toni, Rick, Cathy, Meagan, Janell, Dave, Ethan, Adrin, Ashyr, and Cael came.  Thanks for spoiling Jace on his first birthday.  We are happy that it turned out as good as it did.

Moms 47th Birthday

This year we celebrated my moms 47th birthday at Rodizio grill.  It was a good time.
 This picture is seriously awesome.
I love it that all of the brother in laws are such good friends and they love being around eachother.
Dayton thought that it was soo much fun to say "take a picture of me" and then he would pose like a tiger.
Happy 47th Mom!

Jace is Walking!!!!

My Baby is walking.  He really started moving on Monday night.  He first went 2 or 3 steps and then he got his courage up and walked across the room.  I am such a proud mama.  Jace will turn one, a week from today.  Soo offically for the record Jace walked a week and 2 days before he was 1 years old.  I love this bottom picture, he does the cutest faces when he claps.   He still right now perfers to crawl but I am sure it will only be days before that has changed.

Is this genetic?

I couldn't find Dayton the other day (not such a big surprise...That kid is always on the run!!) and I found him in the back yard by himself just checking out his dad's sled pull truck.   Dayton will sit there and talk to himself about parts on the motor.  So the question remains...is the addiction to trucks and sled pulling genetic??

Soaking up the warm weather

It is sooo nice to have warm weather this time of the year.  We are so thankful because most of October has been wind-less.   My boys have been enjoying some well deserved time outside while we still can.

Rub-a-Dub Dub

My boys love to swim and last night they were extremely active so I wore out their energy by putting all of our swimming suits on and playing in my big tub.   They loved it when the jets were on because the tub instantly filled up with a million bubbles.  We played around for an hour or so and then got out.  It wore them out!  The both fell asleep very fast and they both slept all night!  I will have to keep this in mind for more hyper-active nights ahead!
