Dayton the builder

My little boy is so handy. This kid is as mechanical as any 5 to 6 year old. He can put together so much at only the age of 2.
He has started to put this hot wheels track together and I am sure that it wont be long (probably in an hour) when he has the whole thing put together.
My cute little boy. He makes me so proud.. (:

Jasons New Toy

Jason finally has a hobby drive around town truck. He has wanted one for a long time and I finally said yes last week. We bought it in Bedford WY which is just north of Afton WY. Its a 1998 24 valve, manual truck. Of course this truck will not stay stock... We already have a P7100 pump to go on it. This truck will be a drive around town, 2.8 sled pulling and a drag racing truck. I must be crazy to let my husband have two of these trucks. Now Jason has a total of 3 trucks and 2 extra blocks in the garage. I think that he is really spoiled and has a way good wife to let him have everything he has always dreamed! We will keep ya posted on all of the work that will be done on this truck. Wish me and my sanity good luck!

Grandma Toni!!

My mother in law gave us a welcomed visit on Saturday and she stayed till today (Tuesday). It was so great to have her her to entertain Dayton and to help me out around the house. I am truly so blessed to have a great mother in law. Thanks Toni for coming!
Dayton compared to his brother is so big. Its weird. I went into the hosptial leaving my baby Dayton home while we waited for our newest arrival, just to come home and find a little boy who if full of life and who has grown up way to fast. I am so glad that I am a stay at home mom so I never have to miss a second with my little boys.

Look how big my baby is now... ): makes me so sad. He is officially two weeks old today. It is so cruel how fast time goes by and how fast babies grow. He is such a cutie and we love him tons and tons.

Perfect Sleeper

Jace is the cutest sleeper ever. He just naturally puts his hands underneath his head to sleep. Its so stinking cute. (In the picture Jace is 9 days old) Dayton is finally liking his brother more. He asks to hold baby sweetheart around 5 to 10 times a day. After he gets the baby he will sit there for about 5 seconds and say "okay mom, I'm done!" I will have to click a picture one of these times.

Halloween 09

This year for Halloween Dayton was a monkey! We had excellent weather here in Rock Springs for trick or treating. Normally its cold and the wind is blowing 50 mph and you get your first snow..this year it was around 60 degrees with a small wind of about 5 mph. We just took Dayton up our street and down the next street over. At first he was really confident until a lady who was dressed up kinda scary answered the door... from then on out the trick or treating experience was different. Dayton from then on would walk up to the door, set down his bucket and walk back to the end of the porch. After the door was answered and there were no monsters, he would whisper "trick or treat" . Ha Ha Ha he is so stinking funny. After Dayton was done with his rounds he really enjoyed opening the door for the trick or treaters who came to our house. He was really brave when kids who dressed up scary would come, on one occasion Dayton even said "Bye scary monsters" as the two teenagers who wore scary masks left our porch. We hope you had a great Halloween Dayton. We love you!

Jace's First week home!

Jace has seriously been such a great baby. I thought Dayton was great and easy. But Jace tops the cake. I can seriously only say I have heard him cry 2 times in one week. He is sooo quiet and mellow. I am trying out the breast feeding thing again and its been awesome, Jace has been so easy to work and learn with. I think Dayton just wanted food the easy way and never wanted to work at it. Jace is eating every 2 hours in the day and every 4 hours in the night. So you can say I am not sleep deprived. Dayton has been a trooper and he still has not shown signs of jealousy yet. He calls Jace baby sweetheart. He doesn't really care to hold him, he would rather be in his room playing with his toys. We have been so spoiled by family and friends. Thank you for all the gifts, dinners and support.

The Newest Addition to Our Family.

Jace James Stott was born on Tuesday October 27Th at 2:01 pm. He weighed 7 lbs 5 ounces and was 19 1/2 inch long. The doctor honored my wished and induced me a full week early, which was great. I don't know if I could have got him out had he been any bigger. Induction was started at 7 and we started pushing around 1:30 just to meet my little one at 2:01. The second go around in the Delivery room is way better than the first. Everything was just easier and more stress free. My body didn't get beat up like it did with Dayton. In the picture above Jace is around 2 or 3 hours old. Kids under 14 were not allowed into the hospital so sadly we had to take a picture without Dayton. It just about ripped my heart out of my chest not being able to have my whole little family there. But we made it through.
This is Jace in the delivery room right after they cleaned him up with towels making him look more presentable. He has taken on my looks I think. Dayton was a little Jason baby but Jace is a Lizzy baby. Ain't he a cutie!!
A picture of Jace while in the incubator. Around 1 to 2 hours old (they let me take him for a long time in the delivery room!). All and all it was an excellent experience. I was a little nervous about delivering him here in Rock Springs but it was way better than having a baby in American Fork hospital. We are so excited to have a new little one in the house. We love you Jace, Welcome to our family!
