Christmas Eve!

Today we decided it was a great time to get the four wheeler out and pull the sleigh around the neighborhood. It was a lot of fun!! Dayton got cold after an hour, which was pretty good when it was in the twenty-two degrees outside.
After the four wheeler rides, We decided to start a tradition to decorate a ginger bread house every year for Christmas Eve. It was so fun!!!!.. Dayton ate the candy faster than me and jason could put it on! I made up my pattern for the house and everything. I'm good huh!

Grandpa's Heart in His Hands.

Dayton has always had my dad's heart, but yesterday proved it was official. My dad collects Hotwheel. To the extent that he has tens of thousands I am sure. Everytime my dad see's Dayton, he is always giving him Hotwheels. It has only been just recently that Dayton has started to like them. And when I say like them, I actually mean LOVE them! He, all day long has a Hotwheel in his hand. In the picture above he spent all morning lining up the cars on the couch and driving each one around and putting it back to move on to the next one in line. He also has a play barn and he puts each hotwheel in the barn and makes animal noises for his cars and plays that way. I really should get him a race track or something. He would adore it!

Dayton's "Jesus"

I think as parents sometimes we under estimate how smart our little ones are. For family home evening this month we have really been working on the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. We have a book that tells the whole story, sings Silent Night, and every page shows of picture of baby Jesus. I always point to the picture and say "Jesus" trying to get him to understand. This morning Dayton brought the book to me, for me to read it. I opened it up and just pointed to the baby Jesus and said "ohhhh baby", Dayton looked back up to me and shook his head and said "Jesus!". Cute huh! I am so touched that he is so smart. I love it that he understands who that book is about. That is the best Christmas gift that I believe Dayton could ever give me. It goes to show that children are truly from heaven, and they, just as we are, all children of God.

Long Awaited Weekend

For my long awaited weekend back to Utah County, my mom, sisters and I went to go and see Twilight together. It was so much fun. Before we went into the movie we actually had pictures taken with one of the actors who played James in the movie. It was awesome. I loved it!
Since my parents are going to be relocating we had some fun with my dad old glasses that we found in storage. This is shae, doesnt she look like Napolean Dynomite?

Me trying to look as cool as Shae..

And Dayto....no one can look cooler than this kid. All of these pictures are a tribute to my daddy... I LOVE YOU STAVIE!

Dayter the stud!

11-19-25008. Today at Wal-Mart they had a little four wheeler for sale. As soon as Dayton saw it, he went running. He loves four wheelers and this one was just his size. I would buy him one but he is still to small, so maybe next year. It looks like he is smiling just saying, please...... oh I love him!
Dayton fell asleep while eating lunch the other day. It was so funny. It was just one of those pictures that you have to take and share with others.

My sick little baby ):

Last night around midnight, Dayton came down with the flu and life since then has been messy and rough. I did not know that a kid Daytons size could throw up so much. If he didnt throw up less than 4 times an hour last night it was a lucky hour. This is my first flu experience with my own kid. Its not very fun. I took this picture trying to show how pale he was but he ended up doing a funny face making him not look sick at all. Either way its still a picture of my son and no picture could be a bad picture. I hope he gets better soon cause I wanted to go down to Utah to do some halloween stuff but it looks like we might be staying here and trying to recover so we are healthy and well by sunday for chuch.

Play Group

Here in Rock Springs we are in a play group. Its great, not only for me but for Dayton. He needed to make new friends here and its the perfect thing for him. I also needed to make new friends here in Wyoming. Everyone has been so nice and welcoming. I love it here in Rock Springs. The weather sucks and its so dry and ugly. But the community is what makes it all worth it. PS. Mom, Happy Birthday! I Love You!

Dayton my little Handy Man

I bought Dayton a set of tools at K-Mart. He LOVES his hammer. He thinks he needs to go around hitting everything, like he is fixing it. Jason really likes it that Dayton has his own tools, so Dayton will stop stealing his. P.S the black thing around his waist is actually his tool belt that he thinks he needs to wear at all hours.

First Snow of the Season

Today is October 10 2008. It snowed for the first time this fall season. Dayton was so exicted just to get out there to play in it and decide that it was too cold and that he hated his coat. (Cant you tell why....TOO big! Its only an 18 Month coat) We received about 4 inches so far and its still comming down and only 8:30 in the morning. I am a huge kid when it comes to snow and the holidays. I also had to get out and enjoy it myself.

Dog Whisperer

Dayton is my little dog whisperer. He is always barking at our dog Zoe. He also barked for the little puppies. I think I have a growing problem though. Last week Dayton barked at the lady walking in front of our house. He loves dogs and I think these pictures show almost how much. The puppy up above her name is Bobbett. She is by far the cutest puppy. Dayton likes her cause she is really nice. I think she likes him also. Bow woof woof AHoooooo!

Our new house in Wyoming

I am putting this picture on my blog cause I understand I live in a different state and not everyone can come and see it. The house is sitting in its own shawdow but its alright you can kinda see. Also you can see our new motorhome on the side of the house behind the fence. Its pretty sweet.
Dayton is growing up so fast I cannot believe it. In a matter of minutes dayton has made a total diaster out of his room. It "was" clean. This is what happened today as I was learning how to put together a blog.

Dayton is growing up!

A little big for this now!
I love my son Dayton!
