Daytons Sheild of Armor

So you are thinking...never a dull moment right? Well that's right. Dayton decided to make himself a shield of Armor made out of pads! There are three ...one stuck to his arm and two stuck to his chest. Hopefully they will protect him from when Jason finds out! Seriously funny!

My couches, floors and carpet colored!
I think I now know why they make markers washable! Thanks Rick and Cathy for the great christmas presents. I think the markers are going in the garbage! LOL maybe... if I can stop laughing.....

Respond from Kasha

(I copied this from Kashas blog and decided to post it on my cause it was pretty funny and I seriously forgot all about it....here it is.....) Well, today I was reminded of the good old days and good old friends! A good friend of mine, Liz Strong, posted about the fun times we had growing up! It really got me thinking and I wanted to share a some of my memories as well... I remember one cold wet rainy day when I was over at Liz's house and we noticed their dog Barneby carrying something in his mouth, it was a baby squirell! It was soaking wet, whether from dog slobber or the rain I don't know. It was cold and sad looking and it was barely moving! So Liz and I being the caring kids that we were decide to save the squirell! We dried it off and warmed it up but its back legs weren't working so well... That didn't stop us, we made it a wheel chair out of legos and strapped it onto the back end of the squirell. I am not gonna lie, it didn't work too well. After a while its back legs were still not working, we figured the dog may have "accidentally" hurt it. But we continued to keep the baby warm and dry... Well, a few hours later the squirell really woke up!!!! Can I just say that I don't think that squirrel appreciated a thing we did to help it, because all of a sudden that squirrel was vicious!! It growled and tried to bite and get away! It turned into a disaster but we laughed so hard, that little squirrel was MAD! I think it ended up dying and I am sure we cried and had a funeral for it! That was just one of MANY memories of crazy things we did! I hope that my children will have good friends like that and that they will have fun memories to look back on! Miss you LIZ!

Tribute to Kasha

For some reason I was laying in bed trying to sleep,(but it wasnt working at all!!!) I was thinking about friends and about the ones that really stuck out. Once I got thinking about it I was laughing out loud in my bed and I had to get up and write about it. I got thinking about.....Kasha Shepherd. Kasha wasn't the kind of friend that was boring. We did some of the stupidest things you could ever imagine. Going back in time...I dont have one single memory with Kasha that we spent a day in the house watching tv or anything, we were always outside keeping busy some how. For instance... Kasha had a bunch of rabbits and I can remember us putting the boy and girl rabbits together just to watch them mate and laughing our heads off. (we would laugh because once the male got finished doing his duty he would go all stiff and fall over!) ((now that I am old enough to know better I am sure the rabbits were all brothers and sisters, which would explain why the babies were all handicapped!)) I can remember us thinking we were helping out baby birds in my dads barn and pulling them out of their nest in the ceiling so we could take care of them. Or raising stupid starling birds in Kashas bedroom (I think one or two actually lived! and Kasha let it go). I can remember going for a youth activity to hike up timp mountain, me and Kasha thought we were smart to make up our own trails and "short cuts". I was never really fond of cats but some how I ended up with a total of 3 from Kasha and one of them she gave to me for my birthday. Another one of the kittys she gave me was acutally not even hers but one out of the neighbors barn!! LOL I can even remember swinging on the neighbors swings, me and Kasha got laughing so hard about something, that she peed everywhere while swinging!!! This is when she was in 7th grade or so!!(hope you dont mind me going public about this stuff) The first years of being a teen some how tends to mold who we are. I am so glad that I met Kasha. Because of her I think I found a new sense of humor that I wouldn't have found with anyone else. Kasha thanks for everything especially the memories!

Good Buddies

Today Dayton and I, Went out to lunch with our neighbors Cammie and Carter. We had a lot of fun. Dayton and Carter turned out to be quite the buddies! They decided to hold hands in the parking lot! Boys never cease to amaze you! Thanks Cammie, it was fun!

So while we were down picking up the truck and finishing cleaning the Payson house, (thank you Megan, Rick and Cathy Stott for your help!! We really appreciate it!) we had Dayton's 18 month pictures taken. He wanted to play with the balls so they ended up in the pictures with him. I wanted a cute big brown teddy bear but he wouldn't have anything to do with it. He was a little ornery by the end but we still made it through. Jason bought Dayton a huge ice cream cone when we were finished. All I can say was it was well deserved!! Let me know what you think?!?!

Addicted Performance Diesel Wrap

Before all of the Drama at the Payson house, we figured we would have enough money to get a wrap for the sled pulling truck. ( My husband Jason does sled pulling. We drive from state to state to see who's truck can pull the most weight the farthest. Its a real competitive thing and we have a full truck that's ONLY dedicated to pulling. Other than that it sits in the garaged all year long because it is not street legal AT ALL)It turned out all right. I wish they would have taken more time to get air bubbles out and making sure the seams matched up. Of course their are a few more details that I can complain about but, it was cheaper than a $10,000 (or more) in an actual paint job so... you to get what you pay for. But we love the bright blue and we will definitely make a scene now pulling into the arena.

January Stott Family Saga

Well we went back down to Utah last weekend to start cleaning the up stairs of our Payson house. We kinda rushed down there because we got a bid for cleaning the whole house the the restoration company wanted $17,000.00 to clean it ,so we just had them take care of the basement and we would clean the up stairs. I got down there on thursday in my car after like a 5 hour drive in the car that normally takes 3 hours tops. Dayton was aweful and I wasnt sure why because just the day before he was at his 18 month check up and everything was good. He progressivly got worse and didnt sleep at all that night so the next day I took him to his original doctor in utah and we found a ton of things that were wrong with him that he said Dayton has had for awhile. Dayton had an ear infection in BOTH ears, He had a sore throat and a cold and the doctor said Daytons lungs had a serious rattle. The doctor said it sounded like an asthma or an RSV rattle. Anyways long story short we had to buy Dayton a nebulizer and give him breathing treatments every 3 to 4 hours. He didnt get better instantly either. That night we was up all night again with dayton crying. The next day was Jason birthday and to start the day off right I miscarried.(I am glad it happened sooner than later. the internet says its called a chemical miscarriage because its only like 3 or 4 weeks into it) it still wasnt a good start to the day. We left Dayton with my mom and started cleaning the up stairs in the payson house. Its a lot of work. My dad and Jason thought it would be smart to mix ammonia with clorox bleach. to kill any mold. Yeah not smart. The chemical burned all of our lungs and made the rest of the day not so good. (I am sure I would have miscarried if I hadnt already)Jason didnt have a good birthday at all. When we got done cleaning half the house we left cause we were feeling nasty and we watched a movie, ate coconut shrimp, played a board game and ate Jason's Birthday cake. then had another long night with Dayton. Dayton woke up the next morning still sick, so I had Jason get some orajel from the grocery store and as soon as we gave it to dayton he was all better. What luck huh? Good news about it all is that we are all still alive even though we still have coughs and our throats still hurt, we are only paying the restoration company around 7 thousand rather than 17 and we will only have to pay maybe 13 thousand total out of pocket to be done and over with it, then we just have to keep on trying to find a buyer. (ahh a sigh of relief much better than what it was going to be) Dayton is now better and Jason is offically 29 years old and still kicking. What a month of January. Lets all hope February goes better!
