Another Allergy?

Dayton has another Allergy and sadly I don't know what it is but I do know it can be found in a black and blue berry fusion drink made by Sobe Drinks. It happened on the 19th around 3 pm when Jason gave him some of my drink to hold him over till we got back to the motor home for a glass of milk. First he was fine, then there was a cough, then he threw up and then instantly his airway was starting to close off. It wasn't the same as the results of the nuts its actually worse. Daytons face didn't swell up and go red, it only affected his tongue and throat. I had to bust a move to a Wallgreens that was only about a mile away and get some Benadryl. It was so scary. We are so lucky that his airway never closed all the way off and that the benadryl worked fast to slow the swelling and reopen his airway. We had no idea he was going to have an allergic reaction to the drink. I am currently trying to get him into an allergist so we can find out what was in the drink the cause the problem..but until there he cannot have black berries or blue berries or gurana or anything that he has never had before. I am a little paranoid. I feel like I don't know what he can eat any more. Above are just some cute little pictures of Dayton at his grandpas house in the playground area. He is so stinking happy all the time!

Jasons lucky St. Patricks Day

Jason in the ER
Jason the following morning eating his breakfast.

On St. Patricks day I received a phone call from Jason around 1 pm saying that he had a stomach ache. Well I just kinda blew it off, he will puke and then be on his merry way again, but that wasn't the case. I talked to him a few more times to find out it was getting worse and it felt like there was a knife in his right side. Then I got the phone call around 5 saying that he said he wanted me to meet him in the emergency room and that he thought he was having a problem with his appendix Jason being 100 miles away from the hospital had to drive himself there. Being very glad that I was in Utah with family support for help with my kids I met him there at 6:30.(he arrived about 5 minutes before I did) He started off his experience with the worst IV known to man, Jason said it hurt way more than his appendix. Then it went quiet and we didn't see anyone for awhile. We sat there waiting to find out what the problem was for about 3 hours and then once they said confirmed that it was his appendix, they took him off to go and get surgery. Then the ER experience all of a sudden was moving quite fast. Surgery was 40minutes long, and then 45 minutes in recovery and then he was back and assigned to a room on the surgery recovery floor. The doc came in and said that Jason did good and everything went well. He said that he wasn't going to give any restrictions on what Jason could do because he said that "Jason would know his limits". He also said Jason could go back to work as soon as he wanted. At first this scared me but later I found out that Jason actually does feel pain and he doesn't just get right back up and start lifting and working. We were released from the hospital at 11 am on the 18th. Jason couldn't even hold Jace for 2 days, and then once he did he was complaining that it hurt. Jason would even complain about driving in the car because the little bumps hurt. He tried to convince me that a Tahoe would drive a lot better and he wouldn't hurt so bad in it, but I wasn't convinced. Jason is healing slowly but he is getting better. Poor Guy.

Jace 4 1/2 month stats

We took Jace to the doctor on the 15 of March for a late 4 month appointment. He is starting to slow down in the growing department. He is in the 74th percentile for height, 49th percentile for weight. The cute little bugger and starting to get around a little on his tummy. He is working really hard at getting those knees under him. I don't give it to much longer until he is there. I sure do love my little man! Check out his cute little floppy ear that he has, I love it to pieces, I am always showing everyone how cute it is!

A Weekend in Utah and a Night at the Museum

At the Museum where my grandpa works they hold "a night at the museum" twice a year. It was fun, they had the big dinosaur skeleton at the front desk that moves around and a bunch of dressed up people walking around from different time periods they all knew the museum and had stories to tell, just like the movie. It was a lot of fun. Dayton enjoyed himself, and I thought it was really cute. It will be fun to take the kids in the years to come.

We actually went to Utah on Thursday night late. On Friday me and mom went to the temple, went shopping and then out to my sister Shae's 15th birthday dinner, Saturday we went to my sister Megan's new rental and helped out. Then we hung out with dad for the rest of the night ate dinner and then went to the museum. We drove home Sunday morning. It was a great weekend. thanks everyone for spending time with us.

Footprints on my Heart

me and Jace's feet
Dayton and Jace's feet
Me and Dayton's feet

My boys everyday are leaving footprints on my heart. I saw a cute email that had 5 generations of hands in it and it made me think that I don't have any pictures of my boy's feet so I decided to take a few..

Let's Roll!

So 5 days before Jace turned 4 months old(last tuesday) he decided it was fun to learn to roll around the house. It's so cute. Its like an instant thing that he does as soon as I lay him of the floor. Dayton loves it and finds his brother so much more interesting now! Good job Jace my rolly polly.
