Memorial Day Weekend

For our 4 day weekend we did a lot of work and little play..but when we did play we had lots of fun. We went to Shrek 3 and to Prince of Persia. We also went for 2 rides on the Ranger. I will be glad when my yard is finished and when Jason is done working on the truck so we can have just an all fun weekend again. Here are some pictures of one of our rides to the top of White Mountain. Both of the kids had fallen asleep and it left me and Jason enjoying eachothers company. It was nice and really quiet for a change.

The Zoo 2010

On the Saturday after Megans wedding we took the kids to the Zoo. It was a little busy but we didn't notice it much. The weather was perfect! Dayton was soo excited to get to see Tigers and he was a little disappointed that they were sleeping and they didnt stand up. His favorite part of the Zoo was the Lizzards and the Snakes (the snakes especially). All that kid wanted to do was look at the snakes and talk to them..sssssssssss. I was for sure that he was going to be scared of them and not pay to much attention. Yeah he is definatly my child! Jace slept most of the time but he did get to see the elephants and the monkeys and they entertained him a little. I am sure that in a year from now he will find it a lot more interesting. It was a lot of fun and a good treat for the boys. I am glad we went.

Megan's Wedding May 14th 2010

Megan Had a beautiful, stress and drama free weddding with lots of familyand friends there by her side. The wedding was held at the North Hampton House. She was married at 4:30 and Had a reception from 7 to 9 pm that evening. Congratulations to Lee and Megan Williams!

Megan's Wedding Breakfast

My little sister Megan was married this past weekend. It was so awesome and I am so happy for her and Lee. Here is a couple pictures of Megan and Lee's wedding breakfast the night before the big day at the Golden Corral in Orem. It was a good chance for the families of the bride and groom to meet and greet.

New Family Toy

Today we bought a new family toy. I wasnt very excited about it then we went on a family ride and I am totally loving it. It should be a great investment. And It will be used year around.

Through My Eyes.

With my old camera I could never get a good picture of my boys close up. The flash would always blur out my picture or make my boys bright white. My new camera will take good pictures of my boys the way that I see them when I look at them. I have always wanted to catch a good photo of Jace's floppy ear or long eye lashes, or of Dayton's mesmerised eyes and expressions up close. Now I finally get the chance.

Dayton's photography

Dayton has become quite the photographer since I am more willing for him to use my old digital camera. Here is a good one that he got of me and Jace. I was suprised because I could have sworn he was pointing the camera straight to the ground. Dayton just loves saying "mom, look at me and say cheese!" He also finds it quite funny that he can get other people to smile at him when he has a camera in his hands.

Early Mother's Day Gift

This year for mothers day I wanted a new fancy camera and lucky me it arrived on my door step last night around 6 pm. A brand new Nikon D90 with a VR 18-105mm lens. I couldn't just leave it in the box till Sunday so I have had it out and I have been playing around with it a lot. I still dont have a clue how to do fancy, all out pictures, but I do like the auto feature which I think works out great for now.
