Words of Comfort

Words of comfort...ummm NOT. As everyone knows I am expecting a baby in two months which means we are going to be out of room for guests, which means we need to finish off a room in the basement. These are some of the lines I got yesterday while buying supplies.. Please let me know if they give you as much comfort as they do for me!
"If I can build a truck over a 1000 horse, I can build a basement"
"when I was drinking I helped a few of my buddies frame"
"I dont need instructions"
"I'll have you a new bedroom by monday"
"I watched my dad frame when I was little"
Well Construction starts today.. please remind me that I am supose to be exicted not scared to death!! I will keep you all posted.

A welcomed visit!

My sister Stacee and her baby Macade came up to Rock Springs to give me a visit. A very welcomed visit. Its a rare time when we actually get visitors. We had a lot of fun at parks, around the house, and at Walmart (I think we went like three times! or so it seemed!) Dayton is having a hard time learning the concept of sharing with someone who is so much younger and smaller than he is. He enjoyed pushing Macade to the ground more than anything. Ironic enough though Dayton must really love his cousin because he keeps on asking where the baby is. On Tuesday night, unfortunately, Dayton got the 5 hour flu...It was really weird..no fever and it was such a short little sickness. It triggered my sister into wanting to leave sooner and I don't blame her. Having sick kids is NOT fun! Stacee left Wednesday morning. We did although have a very unwelcome visitor.....
A scorpion..Yes Stacee found this fun filled creature lurking around my kitchen at 4 AM. I heard her ramble about something in the night but I just figured she was crazy or trying to prank me or something, but no, she was right. These creatures are called wind scorpions or camel spiders. They can give humans an awful sting but they are not poisonous. So to all of my rock springs friends....these creatures do invade houses in July and August. Hopefully I never find one in my house again. Stacee thanks again for coming up. It means a whole lot to me. Love you and mac tons!!!

Just a few things

Okay so this image is way old but I love it (like maybe 6 months old). It makes me smile. One day as I was getting ready for the day, Dayton was also getting ready...This is what I found. Now does he have style or what! He makes me proud!! (:
Is this not the cutest picture in the whole wide world. As a wife of a mechanic I truely treaure it. Jason loves is also. Dayton loves being outside with Jason. They work on the truck together a lot. I think its great for both of them and for myself. Oh yeah the most recent thing that Jason has taught Dayton is that "mom broke the truck" So everytime Dayton sees the truck and me, he always says "mom you broke truck!" Little stinker! It hard teaching Dayton it was his father that broke it where he is such a daddys boy. Either way, I am happy and content and couldnt ask for more when it comes to these two boys in my life!

recent events

Jason has had one of the worst weeks and I am looking at it as one of the best weeks of the year. At our sled pull in Elko, Nevada we blew up our truck and melted 1,2,3 and 6 pistons..like to the point they look like wilted flowers. I would get technical but no one would understand (except for Kendahl) what I was even talking about. We even coasted to a 2nd place win which was really good news. Our truck was a moving!! Our new build will be around 15 thousand and well it gets to wait until next year. All of this news means..I have a husband and a father for my child again!!!! wahoo!!! I am so happy! He actually comes home from work and plays with us and doesn't complain that he has to be in the garage! The picture above is Jason and Dayton showing off the hot wheels race track they spend like 45 minutes putting together. Thanks Dad for the great gift!
This is the half way mark of the hotwheels track
This is what a get when my husband can't spend money on truck parts! Yeah, finally a table to go in my entry way!! (I have waited a full year for this!!!)
And this is what I get when life is going to smoothly when I am in the shower....
Dayton finds my mascara and decides to give it a try! notice he even got it in his right eye lashes. He totally cracks me up, Jason wasn't so please but if anything..Its memories made!
