A Little Pumpkin Snack

Dayton has the snack tomorrow for preschool.  The theme was pumpkins so we thought pumpkin pie was a perfect treat.  They boys were so excited while we were making the crust.  They were more than helpful making a huge mess!.  They loved pressing the fork onto the edges of the pie crust.

As you can see here.. the pie at the bottom was Dayton and Jace's and the pie up above was the pie that I didnt want help on.

Here is Jace waiting for the pies to cook.   Dayton has been beaming all day that he helped make his pie for school tomorrow. Considering today is cold and gloomy it was a perfect inside activity for us to do.  Thank goodness for home made pies!!
