On Saturday me and the boys decorated Easter eggs. The kids were so excited about it. Dayton did great this year. I hardly had to help him at all. He thought it was a race of some sort. Jace enjoyed licking the spoon after it was dipped in the food coloring and vinegar. After he was done doing that he decided to smash his egg and put all of the pieces into the coloring mix and play with it that way.
Once Jason was home from working at the shop we had an Easter egg hunt around 4. I hid 40 eggs plus the real eggs that we decorated as well as a few other prizes that I had bought a week earlier. The kids were so cute in their own little hunt. We recorded it all on video. Jace really wasn't into finding eggs but more into wanting to see a truck. Dayton found 90% of all the eggs and by chance found his 2 big surprises at the end. Afterwards the boys played with all of their new things and ate candy....lots and lots of candy!!
