Sand Hollow was amazing! There is something to do for everyone...fishing, swimming, sand dunes, rock climbing (4x4 style), normal camping, sand castle making, camp fire doing, plus so much more! As soon as the kids were out of the motor home we were instantly in the ranger heading to see what exactly was out there.
We first drove to see all the camp grounds, drove around the lake, let the kids play in the lake while I caught some pictures, then we drove some dunes and then did some 4x4 rock climbing.
The rest of Jason's family arrived 2 or 3 hours after we did. Once they were there, there was lots of socializing and then more 4x4 rock crawling and then some dinner and some camp fire time.
Saturday started at 7:30 AM, we started off eating a group family breakfast of breakfast burritos. After they me and the Jason and the boys headed off on the sand dunes to see where they all went, we found some big rocks to climb and found lots of trails to drive on. We were gone for 2-3 hours. We came home and ate a big lunch, and we were off again on the ranger with Rick and the family in the gopher killer. We headed out on the same trails that we did earlier that day. We found a huge slick rock to try to climb. Jason was successful with a wench and Rick was successful with out it. It was something else to watch! Once we were gone 3 hours we headed back to let the kids play in the lake.
The lake was a great place to cool down and un-wind. It was a perfect soft sandy beach that was very shallow. The kids go go out quite a ways before it was too deep. The kids also played on the paddle boat and made sand castles.
After the lake time we headed back to camp to socialize and let the "men" go on a men 4x4 ride up more rocks. Once they were back, we ate dinner and had another camp fire. Then we headed back to the motorhome after a long day of fun.
Sunday morning started early. Sunday mainly consisted of eating breakfast and packing up and heading home. Our 8 hour drive went quite well. We had to take a breather in Lehi to see my family and then we called it good and finished out our Journey.

Too fun! You need to come down and play at our dunes with us this summer. :)
Hi Liz...you don`t know me, but I went to school, and was friends with Jason. I just happened upon your blog and wanted to tell you your family is adorable! It`s fun to see that Jason is doing so well. Take care.
