Logan Sled Pull 2011

Before the pull on Saturday night me and my Dad, Kari, Megan, Lee, Stacee, Macade, Dayton and Jace all went over to the logan zoo and park for a few hours.  It was great to get away and let the kids run and play

This duck had a small nest right up against the fence.  It was nice to the kids could see it up close

Here they are looking at the porcipines (Megan thought they were sloths)

As always my kids have dirty faces.... I guess all I can say is they are only young once!

Jace can sit in a truck for hours on end and just be content pretending that he is driving
Here is how Dayton and Bandit crashed after a long fun day.

It was a lot of work getting Jason's and Ed's sled pull trucks up and running.  If it were not for a few of Jason's friends we would have never had the trucks running in time.  In logan we took last place.  Over the winter we bought a new sigma injection pump that was for a great price and in this pull we had a hard time tunning it.  It was pumping so much fuel that it was putting the fire out.  Once we got that figured the first night, we found out that our fuel pump wasnt pumping enough fuel to the injection pump the second night of the pulling event.  We are so glad that we invested in a corsa that will record all of our data so we can better tune the truck without all the guess work.

Your kids are so cute! And really, let them have dirty faces. They're kids. :)

I hope we can make it to a sled pull soon so I can see you and your cute kiddos. Maybe some day we'll be pulling alongside you! Imagine that. LOL
