Burley, Idaho Sled Pull

Jason and Dayton in front of the Track 15 minutes before the show started This a picture of all of the driving being announced to the crowd. They only do this for the modified drivers. Jason is third from the right.

For our first sled pull of the season we did very well. The turn out was great (you can see all of the people in the grand stands) and the track held up good. This will be the first year we are pulling in the Super Modified Diesel class. (at this pull we were the only truck in super mod class so we got first and last place but we still did get a pay out) We had a good pull but sadly we don't have a video because the video camera had the wrong memory card. We are lucky that we didn't get rained out where it rained all week and all day of the pull, it cleared up just in time for the show to start and then started back up when the show was done. Everything on the truck stayed together really well except for we blew a head gasket causing us to sputter at the end of the pull. The crowd went crazy when Jason started to pull. Super Modified's are always a big crowd pleaser. At the end of the pull Jason had a huge crowd of people gathered around the truck all wanting a closer look, it was pretty cool. All in all we are glad that we made the trip and had a good start out for the season. Thanks to all of the those who drove up to watch, support and help out.
