Once we were done at Walkers Funeral home we walked across the street to the florist shop and started to pick out flowers. From us daughters we picked out mom a colorful arrangement that didn't have carnations or Irises in it. From the grandsons we picked out an arrangement that had stems coming out of the bottom so it looked like the flowers were just picked.
Afterwards we headed to Grandma Shepherd to eat some food. While we were there we tried to figure out titles of songs that mom played on the piano, we also needed to figure out who could play them. Cindy Shepherd took me to Beverly Shepherds house to ask her to play a couple songs that Grandpa Shepherd wanted my mom to play at his funeral and then we had her help us find a title to a happy song that mom would play. It only took Beverly a few minutes and she knew the title was "Alley Cat"
Cindy then drove me to Desert book so we could buy mom some temple clothes. We weren't able to find a dress there, so Cindy drove me to Orem where we had a few more stores to pick from. "Dressed in White" had some beautiful dresses to choose from. We ended up picking out the one pictured above. Mom would have loved it. After we found the dress our day was complete and we headed home for some much needed rest.
